STEWARDSHIP
Stewardship is about giving of your time, treasure, and talent. Often,
we associate stewardship primarily with treasure. And indeed,
treasure is important to keep any institution running. Additionally,
Nativity is particularly proud that a percentage of our operating
budget is dedicated to our Outreach Committee - the best funded of
all our programs.
Stewardship is also a part of one’s spiritual journey. The act of
sharing our blessings deepens our faith. When we discern the ways
God calls on us to help those in need and experience the joy that
comes with a generous spirit, it deepens our faith and understanding
of the true meaning of Stewardship, which is about unity with Christ
and also about love.
Giving of time and talent is as great a gift as giving of treasure.
Through stewardship, we are called to discern our gifts and use our
diverse skills to help the community and those truly in need. The
opportunity to give of ourselves is a gift. It is a challenge of great
good; may we face it with love!
